Kailash von Unruh
Since 1998, I have been working as a consultant and trainer in many different sectors. Seven of those years were spent gaining valuable experience as an internal HR and organisational developer in the financial services sector.
I am passionate about accompanying groups and teams on their way to successful cooperation. In doing so, I apply a range of formats that enable you to reflect on your own (team) work and discuss it in a constructive way. I work with all conceivable target groups, from the porter to the board of directors.
Successful work requires more than just generally valid (patent) approaches. Each individual and each organisation needs to follow its own creative path, which depends on what was, what is, and what ought to be.
I regard myself as a companion for a season: contributing professional knowledge, giving constructive feedback, and supporting participants as they exchange ideas and develop their own solutions.
Clients’ feedback on my approach highlights that they quickly gained trust in me and my expertise. They describe me as resourceful and direct, yet respectful and precise.
Main areas of work:
- Development and support of processes that serves successful cooperation. This often involves changes that either need to be made or have not yet been successful.
- Team development of project groups, teams and departments
- Team coaching for management
- Conflict moderation
- Leadership development
- Coaching
Expertise
The foundation of my expertise is a master’s degree in psychology, supplemented with extensive experiences and further courses, including conflict facilitation, systemic counselling, transactional analysis, large group facilitation, MBTI.
Furthermore, I have been inspired and strongly influenced professionally by other methods. For many years, I have been working with the views and methods of psychodrama. https://rheinland-institut.de/unser-ansatz/ My colleague Uli Markowiak and I run the Rheinland Institute, where we offer further training in this method.
In recent years, two new approaches have particularly inspired me and influenced my work. Firstly, the methods and models of Otto Scharmer (Theory U). https://theory-u.de Secondly, the ideas and approach of collegial leadership. https://kollegiale-fuehrung.de
In both schools of thought I am professionally trained.
My working languages are German and English.
